What is the difference between an Administrator User and an Authorized User?
Administrator users are employee(s) or owners of the business authorized to represent the business for all matters of the Division of Taxation. This user type has full access to all functions available on the Taxpayer Portal and can delegate access to Taxpayer Users. To receive this distinction, Portal users must authenticate themselves with information known to the Division of Taxation and the taxpayer.
Authorized Users are any users who are authorized to perform specified features on behalf of the business. This user provides their User ID to an Administrator User who will grant appropriate function access.
